Today on our 2016 Honda Fit we're going to be doing a test fit on the Glacier cable snow tire chains. That's part number PW1026, and that's tire size 18560R15. These cable snow tire chains feature a ladder pattern, so they're going to be very effective during stopping and accelerating. Steel rollers form cross cables, and they're designed to give you excellent traction on light snow and ice. These chains are SAE class S chains, and they're designed for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. They're low profile, so they're going to provide you with a smoother and more quiet ride than chains that have links. more

Today on this 2012 Honda Fit we're going to review and install PW1026. This is a Glacier cable snow tire chains. Now today on our vehicle we're working with a tire size of 185 55 R16. These are SAE class S tire chains. Now it's a good idea to be familiar with a tire chain before you actually need it. So we will go ahead and install on our wheel and show how it works. more

Glacier Square-Link Snow Tire Chains Review - 2013 Honda Fit- Video
Today on this 2013 Honda Fit, we're going to do a test fit of part number PWPLC1126, from Glacier Chain. This is their square links snow tire chain. Today we're working with tire size of 185/55/R16. We'll lay our chain out. We'll make sure that when you install it over the top of the tire that the hook will be located on the outside. We'll drape it over the tire, keeping it as even as possible, and we'll take the end with the hook and tuck it in the front edge of the tire. more

All right, today on this 2011 Honda Fit were going to do a test fit of part number pw1034. This is Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains. The tire size were working with today is 205/50-R16. Well go ahead and start off our test fit by laying the chain out to make sure we have it oriented the way we want it on the tire. You also want to make sure that the cross cables have their attachment points or clamps facing away from the tire. Now we also want to make sure that the clips that hold the cables in place are ran towards the front of the car. more

Today on this 2013 Honda Fit, were going to test fit a part number PW1026, the Glacier Cable Snow Chain. Now, were working with the tire size of 185/55-16. This is also the design for passenger vehicles with a limited wheel well clearance also known as SAE class S tire chains. To start of our test fit well go ahead and lay the snow chain on top of the tire. Now, when we do that we want to make sure that the hooks wrap around from the inside to the outside so the edge of the hook is not towards the tire. Okay, well lay it out as evenly as possible across the tire and then well tuck it in below at the bottom of the tire. more

Thule CD10 Snow Tire Chains Review - 2011 Honda Fit- Video
Today on our 2011 Honda Fit with tire size 185-55-R16. Well be test fitting part number TH04335075. These are the Thule CV10 tire chains. To begin our installation well need to lay the chains out on the floor and get out any kinks that may be in the chain itself. Well then take the blue cable and slide it underneath from the rear behind the tire toward the front of the vehicle. With that done well grab both ends of the blue cable, bring them up around to the top of tire and connect it together. more

Thule CS10 Snow Tire Chains Review - 2011 Honda Fit- Video
Today on our 2011 Honda Fit with tire size 185-55-R16. Well be installing the Thule CS10 tire chains, part number TH00204075. The built in ice breakers on these chains offer superior grip and traction. It also has a built in release lever to allow for fast and easy removable. These chains will automatically tighten and align as you drive for quick, simple installation. To begin our installation well lay the chains out on the floor and make sure we take out any kinks or knots in the chain itself. more
